Romance options?
« Reply #30 on: October 18, 2010, 11:24:09 pm »

               did anyone ever get the Valen floating dialogue when randomly exploring the Underdark? xD "I know of an exit to the surface nearby...we could...go *LOOK* for it, if you'd liiike,"

My boyfriend at the time was sitting with me. After hearing and reading the text he turned to me; "WTF was THAT???"

LOL.

               Yeah, I did! I get that every time I'm wandering near the cave where you find Nasher's cloak.

               I had searched it in my toolset and the Italian version is not funny at all :-( he simply says something like "over there you can find an exit for the surface". Just that...

               I have to reinstall my game, My laptop froze halfway through the installation.

Weird thing is, it plays fine, I just can't access anything beyond X2_Chapter1 in the toolset >.<;

               Well, the dialogues in my game have been translated by professional translators. So I suppose that the meaning of the sentence is kept, but the joke has been lost in translation :-(

You won't be able access any campaign module via toolset until it loads in-game.  HotU is 3 different modules.

               Is there a file somewhere in the directory I can edit to tell the game I played through it already, so I can, for example, start in X2 Chapter 2 instead of being forced to play through chapter 1...again >.>

               Short answer: No.  Bioware set it up to install this way with the campaigns.  If you need a "why" answer you'll need to contact the designers.  Now... if you happen to have a save available from a previous run through Ch 2... that may work.  Maybe even have someone email you a save.  I won't guarantee that will force the module to load, but it's worth a shot seeing as how you are desperate.  The only other way is to use the console to skip through all the adventuring parts.

Reading another post in the general forum juggled my brain a bit...

If these were not written in the nwnplayer.ini when you installed the game, type them there yourself so you can start each chapter.  That will make those campaign modules available in the toolset:

under [Game Options]

CODEWORD=hacktastic
CODEWORD XP1=ffrodriguez
CODEWORD XP2=barkeater
