The Captain of the guard has sent notices to all the inns and respectable establishments of Dorhal, Hoping That at least some men and women answer his plea.The guard has been slipping, there's corruption about and now some blasted cult in the city? He needs newguard, ones that want to help keep this city safe, and out of anyones clutches. The incident with the war was over, but was too close. What If lord Valerion wanst around? they'd have destroyed all of Humfoo. Tivook, gonds, That'd leavethey City, and the eastern citadel- loody dwarves, they'd survive it, but this city? It'd fall from within, And He wasnt going to let that happen.

 

Crystal- his Finest woman, Capable of doing anything she wanted to do, walked in.

"Sir, the guard, Another corpse, another circle, This time it was in the tradehouse in Chonda port."

He cursed, What ever they were planning, It was going to be nasty- and Toman was off, Relaxing,~ blast it all!

"Thanks Crystal.Did you put the notices up?"

She nodded "Yes sir"

"Thanks, lets hope someone answers the call.I daresay, Without new guard, We'll be stretched thin.. more than we are currently.."

He look as his notice in his hand, Hoping At least one person would come.

 

"You are needed to help Dorhal! The city is comming on dire times, Without new guards, We will not be able to keep it safe. Please If you wish to help, seek out the Guard Captain In The Justice in Dorhal,"

The captain sighed and look round the justice. A demon summoner, In hIs barracks, Half the guard Dead and worst of all the summoner may still be out their. soon the thieves would own the place if he couldnt do something! Toman was back and helping, and there was Mialee, an unknown, but she had a good heart.

He sighed and drank from his tankard, least no-one knew what he looked like in his civies.

"You really shouldnt be drinking, you know that right?" Said a womans voice, to his right.

He turned to look at her, Crystal.Damn that woman was quiet.

"Cant I Have one night off from the crazy?"He took a sip from his tankard "How's Toman doing?"

She sighed and pulled out a map pointing out the barber, the barracks and the baths."these locations have been hit, somethings going on, and Tom .. is.. He with the new girl-Showing her the ropes.Why'd you let her join anyway?She's a Lycan?"

He just glared at her, putting his tankard down."I let her join for a few reasons.One was we ned more guards, We've lost Too many. Two is She's damn useful And three.I Think we NEED different races and whatnot in the guard, they can help. No go do your job, I'm on my break"

She just nodded and packed up the map and walked off, silently.

Crystal sat by the captain, dipping the quill into the Inkwell once more she signed her name on the document.

"The captain was attacked... And a few more lost.. Least they stopped him.. but.. something.. is still off."

She glanced to the captain, The cleric said he was recovering,but for now, he was out of it.She sighed and took a drink from her ale glancing through the reports.they were all fine, the demons dying down but.. This mistress, This wasnt the first time she's been mentioned.She took another swig of ale

"Gods, You have alot of papers to look over, Thanks to Tom and Mialee though, for now, the city can recover.. Yet we still have the guard shortage."She glanced out the window, The street below was faring better than most, many had been the sites of demon attacks.She uttered a spell and called her familar, A bat, who appeared in a flash and uttered a few squeaks.

"Go, Survey the city, report to me what you can.Be quick now, little one."

It squeaked in reply and flew out the window.Crystal meanwhile got back to the paperwork, her mind worrying about what happens next.

Crystal sighed. A man was captured the Tivook innkeeper gone. and Drow in the city. The guard couldn't handle this- So soon after the issue with the mage and... Now drow? Hells What next? Dark elves, Demons. She sighed and looked out the window. Things could only get worse in the city.

The captain has fallen into a fever, he wasnt going to make it, except for some rare herb that A ma said would cure him, but with no name or description the were grabbing at straws.

Crystal decides to call in help, Adventurers, people who've explore far and wide- Hopefully someone Would know..
