Llyra is currently in Alpha, but we wanted to play some adventures using it as a spring board. And even though we aren't ready to advertise ourselves as a PW, we'd be happy to play with you if you are comfortable being a guinea pig. So to go with this theme, I am calling this Casual Adventuring and hoping it becomes a thing we do on a regular basis. This is the kick-off.
What is this? Pen and paper style play for a single party and a DM. Our PW will be up (as it always is), but we'll also have a bunch of areas specifically made for an adventure which require a DM and are not accessible from the main module unless the DM jumps you there. Players will log in near the scheduled time or already be logged in and have the opportunity to join the adventure. Once the party is gathered it becomes a pen and paper session with the DM just focusing on that group. Your character will gain XP and GP and keep items etc…, but the narrative of the adventure may or may not link back to the PW. Thats entirely up to the DM and what they want to do.
So we'll be kicking this off this Saturday at 6pm PST (Nov 22nd 6pm PST). I'll be running a little adventure for low level PCs which will start in Fleet's Landing. If you are interested, and not played with us before, make a character ahead of time. All of our essential info is here, and we recommend that you use NWNCX when making a character.
