With the fall of the master server and the demise of the buddy list, its never been more difficult to keep tabs on all your own playmates as they scatter themselves to the four corners of the NWN community. Particularly if you (like me) have an aversion to handing out messenger and email account details to all and sundry. Short of creating a new NWN specific email account that can be shared more openly (and others miraculously choosing to do the same) I'm struggling to think of any way around this.
Do any cunning technical types have brainstorms as to any way to somehow replicate the humble Gamespy & Old Bioware forum Buddy List that has served us so well over the years?
Edit: Obviously another option is hanging around forums like these more and sticking your current haunts in your signature, but that also isn't a great alternative.
