anything like fork still going on? other than the 'a persistent world - old' ? im looking for something that makes use of the later NWN updates including HOTU , the current fork server seems to be just a museum of nostalgia, which is cool but i want to actually get back into the game and have new experiences. the thing that i enjoy about fork is that you dont have to go through any bull**** to play the game, there are hardly any quests, the main town is small so its community oriented. there were other towns and shops out in the world but at the point that i stopped playing people were finally starting to update to add new areas and HOTU things. but what i like is that it was focused on adventuring and community and moderate simplicity and leveling/acquiring loot/building characters. thats what i would like, a simple action server that doesnt have a gimpy story line or require you to reach endless text boxes or roam around for hours in a huge main town and never see another player even though it says there are 40 online.
ALSO. im thinking about getting in contact with the guy who actually runs the old dusty fork server to see if he will consider updating it . that would require also finding the newer fork modules which would be a task in itself. but if anyone is interested in this idea send me a PM
