Looking for a fun PW (action and good magic).

               Hi,

I used to play Neversummer 3 and 3.5 several years ago.  I just reinstalled NWN (+ expansion packs and downloading the CEP now) and noticed that Neversummer is unfortunately very low on player base.  The NS4 has 40+ at any given time, but it's much lower magic and more focused on PVP.

What I liked about NS3/3.5 was that people would create parties all the time to run dungeons and kill bosses for high magic items.  If you were really good you could actually solo some of those (would take a few hours).   Leveling was pretty good... if you had items already from other PCs you could get to 40 fairly easy (a week for a regular player).  I'm a Diablo series kind of person.  I like nice items, lots of action and good dungeons in a group or solo.

I am trying to find a fun server like that that has a player base.

               I think, that Higher Grounds would suit you very well, but prepare to get CEP2.

Other than that, there was some Diablo1 remake server without haks, but it don't appear to be online today, and I don't exactly remember the name it was something like "Home Town classic Diablo", something like that, but it was more about boss killing because they had best drop. And the best items was runewords and you had to loot runes from bosses.

The Three Towns (no haks) missing dungeons with treasures, same as DEX and guess Heart of Winter too (which is DEX remake IIRC).

               Just checked out Higher Grounds on the vault -- sounds like a perfect server.  CEP2 ey? Hmm, I'm downloading CEP 2.3.... is that the latest one?  Is CEP2 something that's already out or it's just coming in the near future?

               Well, love the server so far. Thanks for the recommendation!  I love the fact that it rewards you for being in a group, instead of penalizing.
