HIya guys! Here is me with yet another question!
I wondered if it was possible to make encounter triggers only spawn hostile encounters once the player has reached a certain stage in a questline?

Yes, assuming NWN1 has the SetEncounterActive() function same as NWN2, you can have that encounter trigger inactive until you set it active by script at that stage in the quest.
