So I use to have this really basic addition to the standard crafting system and tell players to make a ring for their crafting ability since I do not strip item properties I prefer making the ridiculous armors a Liability to the players instead so a simple crafting ring is even offered in my servers in old days. It's a meaner way of saying no cheap-shots allowed I also have custom monsters that can wipe the floor with any player one on one and they are legit by the books standards. Well anyhow back to the crafting system concept for my server.
This system I was looking for and found I figured Ya I can swing that it will be easy a better ways to update the system players would no longer need a ring it would run entirely off one widget and in server items specially scripted placeables would be the way to do it but the basic old school way would still apply..... well... what Have I gotten myself into the UOAbigilia crafting system might be a little too big...HELP where the world do I start with shrinking this giant down to size and incorporating the older method of crafting in with the system?
update: I really need to knock this down to size to make room for the NPC and other scripted items I plain to have in server so I decided I am going to start with the mushrooms and fungus I will tear out the skills needed to harvest these items and have a merchant in server selling the mushrooms this should take out all of scripts while allowing the players to still make things they are needed for. I will remove all references to the die and use standard tool set diekits, alter references for the standard items to reference the standard tool set items, as well as taking out all the special treasure (treasure maps and whatnot) I eventually want to turn this into just a SIMPLE crafting system addition where you can grow and harvest what you need to make your supplys
