I think the previous bad blood between MM and I is so thick, it doesn’t take more than a drop of a match to get it to boil over. And MM, I do appreciate you backing off and giving me some time to cool off.

For what it's worth, the *only* time I have *ever* been angry with you was in this thread after your original reply to ffbj.  Period.  I think you sometimes use hyperbole regarding NWN losing players and have expectations for developers that are extrodinarily idealistic, but I don't dislike you for that, let alone hate you or something.

I am going through a major transition in my real life, back to work after a very long time of un-employment, and it is taking me a while to adjust. I would like NWN1 to be recreational, and something I enjoy, and not have my interactions with some community members make me see red. It’s certainly not healthy for me, or the community

I'm sorry to hear that.  Honestly.  I hope you figure things out and get back on track.

Yeah, and good luck in your new job, and I don't dislike you either.  I just did not agree with the idea you were proposing, and I probably should have just kept it to myself.

I know SetActionMode has this nasty tendency to ignore the requirements of the mode to activate. Originally I had some Shadow Dancer enemies who would HiPS every once in a while if you weren't directly targetting, but they could hips whether directly attacking you or not. It made them QUITE FEARSOME. It was akin to a player Shadow Dancer who would quickly cancel combat to enter stealth except they didn't have to. They would just keep HiPSing you the entire time they're swinging at you and there wasn't anything you could do to stop them because you couldn't be directly targetting a group of 4 enemies at once. Eventually I fixed it, but it taught me SetActionMode doesn't follow the rules.
