               Hello,

I am trying to script control the animation loops one can find on the tiles properties on NWN1.

Say i use the tiles group "wizard den 2X2" from the "city interior" tileset. There is an animation loop for the big caldron. I want to fire it by day and stop it at night with code. I can find info on activating/deactivating a placeable, but nothing for these special animation loops...  Is this feat really doable? If this question has been already adressed, could someone direct me to the right thread?

I searched the net and the lexicon with no success. Hoping some friendly
soul help a poor stranded cave gnome.

Thanks for any help

Can't be done as far as I know. You'd have to turn off the animation manually via the toolset, place a placeable cauldron over the tileset cauldron and control the on/off placeable animation this way, to fool the player into thinking it's the tileset cauldron that's on/off.

FP!

               "Can't be done...", that's what i feared.

Yes the placeable caldron trick works, but the standard tileset caldron is not exactly the same, and the edges of the 2 superposed objects are visible. Well, better than nothing...  :-)

Thanks a lot Fester Pot
