               Greets,

Looking for a conversation and/or script combo that has the player choose where they came from in the world and then based on the choice assigns them specific equipment.

I've seen variations of this on a few worlds, just can't seem to find anything on it.  Did everyone write their own? 

If anyone has a resource for this kind of thing, please let me know.  I was kind of surprised that the Vault didn't have a section for Conversations.  They are one of my worst nightmares and I'd have thought people would share those as well.

               Conversations are simple to script, simply go to the line, where you will want to give them their equipment, and in the ActionTaken Event, create a script...

Create the Item on them, and then make them equip it, if you so choose...

Not rocket science I assure you...

If you need help with scripting then go get Lilac Soul's Script Generator off the vault..

               Most would have to write their own convo, so as to be able to indicate all the various areas in their particular world.

               I am redoing ours and you can have a version when i am done, Eagle. Just change TSM or the Words Silver Marches for FRTN or The North and it will be fine.

I am using just standrad items from the pallette and the Players Guide to Faerun to make the regions.

I am a very, very newbie scripter.  For the most part I can read and follow them and perhaps even modify them, but not have a chance to write them from scratch.  Concersations drive me batty though I am getting better and learning by modifying.  I am working on both of these, but it is a slow process.  I certainly appreciate the offer.  I'll be in touch.

NP. I will have this done in a week or two but you can always have the one we have now too if you want.
