Editing Your Henchman's Friendship
« on: January 03, 2011, 05:52:41 am »

               *very slight spoiler alert*

I am playing through the OC for the
first time, and have been bringing Linu with me. In Chapter One, I found
the holy relic she mentions in her dialogue, but I must have never
triggered the proper dialogue; she never remarks on my having it and I
can't give it to her. It vanished as soon as I entered Chapter Two.

I
once again invited Linu to come with me, and she has been talking about
her past. Then she suddenly stopped talking. My journal implies that if
I did complete her quest in Chapter One, I cannot continue talking to
her in Chapter Two. This is very annoying. Is there a way I can edit my
saved game so the game thinks I completed Linu's quest in Chapter One?
The dialogues with NPCs are one of my favorite parts on these types of
games, and the idea that I cannot continue it is very frustrating.

I hope this is the right section to be asking this, and thank you.

your best bet is to read the sticky henchman solutions  from  the old lagcy boards.  I think it has everything you will need to find your solution.  Be warned there are heave spoilers in the thread.   If you can not find your answer there Post back and hopefully someone will not mind digging back through it again.

All right, thanks! I checked through the thread a bit, and I believe simply spawning the Pendant of the Elf in my inventory will solve the problem. Hopefully that will flip the switch to make the game think I completed her quest in Chapter One.
