Uhm.. I don't know what to search for this so..
« on: December 20, 2010, 07:19:27 pm »

Is there a script with a simple check or IF command in the scripts that I can use for ALOT of things? I cannot find any..

I want to check for items, variables or the like and to decide what happens if it returns true or not. I don't think the GET scripts do this? And if so, how do I use them?

Simple things, like hindering the player from traveling without an item or a conversation.

Any scripts in the toolkit people use as template for this?

I do not know yet what script the toolkit uses and do not script myself, so I don't want to go there just yet.

Thx

It sounds like you are asking:

How do I script without learning how to script.

Absurd.

However absurd it is there is a way.

NWN Scripting Programs:

Lilac Soul's NWN Script Generator V2.3
ScriptEase

thx but what I was (meant) to ask for was how to use the toolkit without knowing how to script! '<img'> what scripts in the database that does the simple things i want made, with some easy changing variables or strings or whatever this language uses.. i'll check out the urls.

edit: tried the lilac prog.. that is quite convenient.. thx for that. Guess it saves alotta scripters from getting alotta simple requests.
