Putting a Script into a Hak...
« on: November 09, 2010, 10:04:48 pm »

                Greetings all,

I want to put a custom script into a hak, but I've forgotten how.

Help would be most appreciated.

The game comes with a hak pack editor/maker. You can find it here "Your NWN directory/utils/nwhak.exe". There are some hak pack editors in the vault as well if you don't like Bioware's.

If you installed in the standard place.

C:\\\\NeverwinterNights\\\\NWN\\\\utils Folder will have a program in it called nwhak.exe that you can use to place content into a hak.

As far as getting the scripts to place into the hak simplest way would be to open the module it is in with the toolset. Once the module is open, a folder will be created in the modules folder, called temp0. Open that folder and find the two files that have the name of your script. One of them will have a .nss extention the other a .ncs extention. Put both of them in the hak.
