Crashing tiles
« on: January 05, 2016, 07:54:36 am »

I recently noticed a crashing in Rocky Mountains tileset, since this reported other players too and updating graphic drivers didn't fix it. I looked into it. After few hours I found the tiles causing this, its tbm18_z01_01, tbm18_z02_01,  tbm18_z03_01.

I know edge tiles mustn't have lights but this is suprisingly not the case. I found out that its the two vertical branches with tree foliage that are causing this. Unfortunately I have no idea why. So far I simple deleted these objects from tiles and Im happy with that, however I would love to find out why its causing this. What is so wrong about them its crashing. Could help me fix other tiles in future.

Any ideas?

You don't have to remove those. Just change every occurance of "tilefade 1" to "tilefade 0". Or better yet look for every tilefade that is > 1 and set it to 0.

tilefade? I will try, but I saw tilefade on edge tiles in several i think even vanilla tilles (city exterior iirc) and it didnt crashed.

Is the foliage animated? If so, kill the animation.
