TR's Shapes
« on: December 03, 2015, 10:44:42 pm »

I have just submitted this project to the vault. The best (or maybe laziest) way to describe this is to just post the contents of the read me file here.

Description

This is a set of shapes. Each shape is surrounded by wholly transparent pixels. These shapes are not designed to be used in NwN “as is” but rather to be combined with other pictorial elements to create textures for models.

   Contents

There are 58 different shapes in this package as follows:

·         58 Black

·         58 White

·         58 Coloured (Red, Green or Blue)

·         58 Patterned

Notes

The heart of this collection of 58 black shapes. These are your blank canvas to do with as you will. To compliment them I made the white shapes. To illustrate what can be done with them I have used the original shapes in 2 ways. First off I have simply colour filled them in red, green or blue. Obviously you can do better. Because you can pattern fill in Gimp as well as PS and others, I have also done some examples of this. About half of the patterned ones are just that, simply pattern filled. The other half of the patterned ones have been layer styled in an ancient copy of PS.

Finally, these are grossly over-sized at 512x512. This is not the size that they are really designed to be used at. I have taken the view that it is always better to be able to shrink graphics rather than to try to expand them.

I was inspired to make these by a request that I fulfilled on the BioBoards some time ago. If you have the need, I hope you find these useful.
