How could I forget that? I used to grab them all on a late Saturday night local channel when the VCR was just released to the public. Ah..that first VCRs (my first was around 1975). It was big. It was bulky. It was amazing for it's time. Stored somewhere I still have boxes and boxes of tapes. Wonder if they'd still play? Should get out some old tech, just for fun this weekend. Some Ray Harryhousen on the VCR, some Dylan, Stones, and Hendrix on the 8-Track (still have them and I still have a player), and my first computer--an original Apple II using a cassette drive for storage. I know my "upgraded" Disk II 5 1/4" disks still work, I played with it about a year ago. Super Hi-res baby, with 280x192 resolution and 6 count them SIX colors. Or you could get wild and psychedelic in 40x40 low res and 16(!) big beautiful colors. Don't mistake this as mocking, before the Apple II series went the way of the dinosaur, some really cool and addictive games were released, for me, the Ultima series was right at the top.
Sorry for the walk down memory lane...I couldn't help myself.
