bump in animation after bake

Hi guys,


 


if anyone can help me whenever i bake an animation using Ikchains (from foot to thigh and hand to bicep) i have a shitty bump in my legs and feet. I use a human model that just does some simple move animation always the legs and feet got disjointed. They "jump" a bit away so to say when the animation reverses itself to create the loop and i use sample 1 which should fix that but nothing. I have no clue what to do and i´m stuck!


It´s realy just some simple thing.


 


Oh and is there an easy way to just reverse an animation within 3dsmax w/o a script that is no longer available... I just need to reverse some keyframes. And to do it manualy hell no!

Hey, after reading your post, I decided to do us both a favor and figure this out. It turns out the best way to do this is to export your animated geometry as an FBX file and bake the animations that way, now delete your IK's and import that file back into the current scene and under file content, select "Update Scene Elements". I hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply and the solution with fbx files. Problem is my fbx version doesnt work the easy way people with the fancy versions are used too. It doesnt works at all for me...


 


And yes the reverse animation playback button i Know... i dont realy remember why i asked this stupid question in the first place '<img'>

If anyone will experience the same problems as I here is a simple fix.


For a short animation of lets say 40 frames rescale the time to 200 frames and bake it. Now the animation should be very very smooth. Rescale the time again back to 40 frames and voila.... everything should be ok. That simple trick does it for me. Now i can enjoy every anim. i can imagine with Ik chains '<img'>
