Looking for Winter and Desert Tilesets

Hi 

 

I am using Zwerkules Medieval City, Medieval Rural, and NWN2 house Tilesets. I really like Zwerkules work. That said I was wondering if there where any really nice winter and desert tilesets? I have looked around the vaults and seem some OK ones but nothing that really grabbed me. However I could have missed or overlooked one. Plus I was only checking out the ones that had pic's posted with the tileset.

Lord of Worm's Seasonal Tileset is quite popular, but it has a much different look and feel to Zwerkules work.

Thanks Fester Pot , but ya its a little to different to go with the other tilesets I'm using.

Have you looked at Sen's Frozen Lands Tileset? Even though it is an unfinished beta, it is quite good and is not based on LoW's work. Otherwise here's a couple of links to lists of tilesets. The first is to all those with winter in their name and the second to all those with snow in their name. Finally here is a link to a list of all the tilesets on the vault marked as desert.

Two tilesets from those lists that caught my eye were Zwerkules Arabian Nights and Xerx's New Snow Tileset.

Thanks for the insight and help pointing out some nice tilessets Tarot Redhead, Fester Pot, Tiberius, and Pstemarie. I was hoping for something a little different, but I will try to make one or more of these work.

 

I guess I was hoping for a reskin of " Zwerkules " Medieval City, Mountains and More, and or NWN2 Houses Tilesets.

 

 

Oh well may be in time or once I have my module done I might get with Zwerkules and try and make myself a override hak that would change those tilesets to look like Desert or Winter. This would work for me with what I am working on. That way I wouldn't need to have two whole new tilesets. It would also be nice to be able to switch the mod from summer to winter by using a hak override.

What kind of winter tileset do you look for ? Those posted are the best ones to my knowledge and they are all very different in styles so maybe you got some screens as a hint for us ?

Oh and there is also a snow themed version of rocky mountains from Lord Rosenkrantz... but that should be it. You are also free to retexture my ravencast forest tileset if you want to '>

I mean "winter" is just a season... so you could just mean a graveyard in the winter very romantic or melancholic... who knows.... with some dancing spirits who fell in love maybe... a winter themed rainbow comes to mind... i should ask barry about it. Do you know who barry is btw. ?

 

Yeah i understand you dont want to be bothered with barry. I can definately understand you! Lets move back to topic about winter. I like snow. Do you like snow too ? There is a tno desert tileset (link).
