Just some proof that the cookies are indeed coming, followed by a carrot, a parsnip and hopefully 2 types of potato and a plate of cookies (if gmax export works ok in the end).

Special thanks to Zwerkules and Rolo, without whose patient help and advice I wouldn't have made it even this far with gmax/3D stuff.

*takes hat off and bows*

In other news, I've discovered how to slap 2D images onto 'painting'/wall hanging placeable, so there is a (potentially large) collection of wall art coming - this is just the start '<img'> :

Most of the above images are products of screenies from NwnExplorer. I still need to test them to make sure they 100% work IG and iron out some bugs, but hopefully all of the above at least (+ food inventory icons) will make it into this month's CCC.

I apologize to TAD in advance, as I might struggle to clean it all up and submit in time, as I have a totally crazy week coming up.

Nice food. TBH, speaking as someone who's only solo contributions have been flat, I wouldn't include any of the wall sculptures above as paintings. They just won't look right in game without being modelled. As far as the paintings go, there is no need to go to the trouble of using gmax, blender, etc. as it is probably faster to start with a master ascii model  and edit as needs be in notepad++ etc.

Following on from a brainstorm, I have updated my submission (yet again - sorry AD). There are now an additional 11 icons with accompanying blueprints.

Hope you like this mix of 5 notes, 1 official notice and 5 sheets of music.

Tarot - Have you considered getting those notes and damp, soggy books outside an inventory and doing them as Placeables? They'd be useful extra clutter for trashed libraries, etc...

Having hit myself with a brick in a shocking display of abject confusion, I think I've now more or less stopped messing about with the exact size of the Table Animals. They are in no way to scale with each other and in a hideous revelation caused by Non-Widescreen Tables of Insufficient Size, they are not all actually ON the Table. But they ARE Animals. Or stone idols of Animals at any rate. Or, to be technically accurate, they're virtual 3D representations of stone idols representing Animals which actually have no physical validity whatsoever... which is just as well, 'cause if you had a load of solid stone Animals inside your computers your computers would likely cease to function and suffer debilitating diode aneurysms.

Other stuff's come up, so that's probably all from the Dreaded Hyena of Lunacy this month; shall send a Big Bag of Rubbish to TAD now... It will contain:-

Animal Statues

Animal Idols

Altar of Ultimate Evil

Waystones

and a Zonking Great Acrocanthosaurus (not in a pear tree).

Well if I didn't mind being chased by a stonking great gem dragon, driven mad by receiving several "final" submissions, and I had your (let's be honest here any) skill at 3D modelling, I might just be tempted. At my level of skill I could spend a couple hours doing the 5 notes, 1 official notice and 5 sheets of music as simple placeables. This would involve making the models (by the simple expedient of editing a standard model in npp), editing placeables 2da and adding those files to the hak. Then opening the demo/test module in the toolset, making the blueprints and placing the notes etc. in the single area. Test the result of all that in game and decide that the notes are too big in game and so re-edit those 5 models so that they are a quarter of the size I first tried. Re-test in game, like what I see and so compile the models. I could then leave the results of all that sitting on my hard drive because I didn't want to annoy said AD.  ''

Annoy away. '<img'> You've still got some time.

Just ignore the dragon behind the curtain, finally making time to put the Hyborian stuff together (nearly a month late).

Would you believe that the point of the books, notes, etc. (but excluding the placeables) was in fact the blueprints? It's just that one thing lead to another...

OK, catalogue has been updated (for the second time today!). Also I have sent a bug report on this ccc package to AD.

I once did a series of books for my old world but i no longer have access to it to pull them or areas out of that i once did and many have been redone many times over.. But the books were dnd accounts of what had happened and much of the lost lore that my toon had to rediscover.. Before i left the server for good after loosing control over it i had begun work on a placeable book set dealing with golem creation and what was required by them along with the pnp versions.. to me the devil is in the details.. it makes things more emersive. so i had found the knowledge and returned it to book form and built a library to house it in the newly reclaimed myth drannor.. i had every thing on dnd lore and battles that had happened.. i also did a book for mythals and high magic as well as histories of many races (except humans) i had always meant to get to them but never did..  i have even done lost spells on scrolls even if they were just for rp use.. all placeables.. so what i am getting at is that no matter what you make the stuff for like me many will find a use for it either as it was intended or customized use to fit their settings or worlds.. i had once been asked if i planned to write a book fitting my toons many incarnations and servers i have played on since nwn1 since i had created such a unique and long history from the original arrival of elves which my family was part of to modern day..(modern day being i think it was last up to 1400 dr or so).. we had used many of the small things from the vault in our server at the time and for a long time were very popular.. We had custom content as well some had a bigger part than small things in shaping the server along the way.. so dont be afraid to release anything you make since most of the nwn2 community will find a use for it in some way or another.. i will not be taken part in this but i do highly recommend and support these competitions.. i have either been part of a team or made "jobs" for pc's to do and make either gold or xp for completing sometimes both.. while the jobs were specific to the server they could easily be modified to fit whatever world you can get them into.. so in short "build it and they will use it" for give the reference even modified as it is..  Some of the small things inspire new stories or events for players a collection of them can inspire a new world or server.. never stop building new things and releasing them as it inspires even if it doesnt get used past the inspiration the point is it did something to help others..
