Sitting in chairs is an old chestnut, of course, but for my own purposes I've run a test on the models available in CEP 2.6.

I've found it helpful to change my placeables.2da descriptions to split the chairs into three groups - work well, not so well, not at all.

Obviously, invisible objects placed on chairs work well in all cases, but I'm hoping to avoid the overhead.

Has anybody fixed these models? Does anyone plan to?

Personally, even if they all worked properly, I'd still use the invisible placeable method myself. A lot of the chairs, benches and couches, your PC will sink into when they sit, even if they do face the right direction. So I manually lower the Z axis of most seating to match the seated height when using the invisible placeables and set them as Plot and Static, then drop an invisible seat on top of them. Add the big ugly glow these placeables make to my list of dislikes as well. '<img'>

I prefer fixed chairs since I like to enable PCs to pick up and move chairs around.

Only got that working for the chairs in Project Q though.
