On the new vault there is a creature called a Bebilith (aka Abyssal Creeper/Barbed Horror) that was made by Ryuujin. The picture on the download page looks like

Unfortunately, in game it looks like

Notice the legs. Is there a fixed version somewhere? If not would someone care to fix it and repost the fixed version back there. I am guessing that for the skilled people on here, this should be a simple fix as it looks like it just needs the pieces of the legs realigning.

Could be a wrong animation scale.

Open the uncompiled model with a text editor and change "scale 2.0" to "scale 1.0".

Maybe that will help. It's late and I don't have the time to test it now.

I also have not looked, but I agree with Zwerkules. The underlying issue is that the animation sequences probably provide anim keys for position, when they should really not. Those keys positions are scaled by the mentioned animscale value, and that generally makes a hideous mess. If fixing the animscale value as suggested does not help, think about having somebody remove all position keys except maybe the rootdummy (given special circumstances).

Went through the model and fixed that scale but still to no avail. Would removing all the lines with "scale = 1.0", excluding root dummy, be of any use?

Just ask Pstemarie for the fixed file or look for NwnE at the new vault.

I've seen people mention NwnE several times now but there is no link and I find nothing but a single hit for monster mash (which has a mention and no link) when searching for NwnE on the new vault. Does someone have a link to this mythical thing?

Not mythical - apparently the files haven't been migrated over. I know Rolo has them tucked away in storage. I'll poke around my DVDs and external drives and see if I can't find the files.

Meaglyn, I think this is what you're looking for.

ftp://neverwintervault.org/rolovault/projects/nwn1/hakpaks/7730/' class='bbc_url' title='External link' rel='nofollow external'>ftp://neverwintervault.org/rolovault/projects/nwn1/hakpaks/7730/

Check the index.html to see what .7z files that you need.

Edit: Upon further review, I believe some of the listed files on the original vault entry index were not transfered to Rolo's archive.

Cool, thank you! That gives me a start. I don't know which if any 7z I may need. I'm not all that interested in the spider thingy. I was mostly just hijacking TRs thread to finally ask what this NwnE thing is '<img'> It looks like there might be some interesting bits. I may have to crack it open and see what it really has in it.

Oooops! My Bad. I didn't notice

setanimationscale 2
right at the start of the model. Changed it to
setanimationscale 1
and it is now fixed. Thanks guys.
