In my travels around the internet I have acquired a lot of 3d models, of things that interest me (not all being suitable for nwn), in a variety of formats. Where possible I have tried to only get models that I have the software to view them. Unfortunately in a number of cases this wasn't possible, either because the description on the web page said they were 3ds (when in fact they were max) or these were the only versions of a certain model that I could find.
Now as far as I know these are all at least freeware (but I think they are all pd), I was wondering if anyone would be interested in converting these .max files as 3ds (or obj) for me. There are about 25 different models including some recent Dr. Who (the rebooted version) character models. These, while I would love to see them, are not my main focus of interest. As this autumn will see the 50th anniversary of the late Gerry Anderson's "Stingray" and next year is the 50th anniversary of "Thunderbirds" (no not the awful live action movie) I have a particular interest in all things Supermarionation. In amongst the max models there is one of Marineville and another of Fireeball XL5.
Anyway, if anyone is interested I have packed all these models into a 7zip archive and posted it in my dropbox public folder here. Please let me know if you can do this.
