How about a compromise?

i like the dirty stones a lot. Not sold yet on the larger river rock looking cobbles. Maybe reduce the size of those stones. A finer size would be more elegant for the walkways. And less bumpy to walk on. '<img'>

great work! perhaps darker wooden beams for the buildings, and the cobble on the bridge?

keep it up I would love to use this for my next project!

I like the main cobble texture in your screenshot, Six.  I like it very much.  Not quite as sure about the building terrain floor texture - it's nice, but it pops out maybe a bit too much, in my opinion.  I think that, on the whole, floor textures shouldn't stand out.

Brings to mind the last time I was in Oxford. Not a kind experience for my feet.

Definitely do need to tone down those anyway.

Looking good; the irregular, curving transition breaks up the ground patterns nicely. I can almost see the slop being tossed out the windows...

Cobble street looks good - maybe shrink the stone in size just a tad more (maybe 75% of what it is now). Not very fond of the sidewalk texture. Its really jumps out at you when viewing the shot. What if you went with something like this:

Well _six,

that big "cobble" texture you used in your latest ss looks more likely to be found in a river. The big rocks are very rounded.... I mean both textures you used there are way to "round" to be usefull as cobble. How are people supposed to walk there... not to imagine when it is raining or a fully loaded wagon is used on it... hehe clonk '<img'>  and Katoom '<img'> '<img'>

But the first texture, the grey bluish one is realy good. Looks great in close up and zoomed out '<img'>

But how someone like you realy want to "retexture" that damned old city is beyond me... the city expansion you did long ago was and still is the best around. But maybe you are just in the mood to test textures... '<img'>
