New Year Inspirations?
« on: January 02, 2013, 12:08:37 am »

As you may well know I do tend to look in on deviantArt on a regular basis. As its the new year I thought I'd share a few links to things I've recently found in the hope that others can take inspiration from them.

Dragon 1
Dragon 2
Dragon 3

A Russian Artist's Gallery

Hey Rolo, I found one thing I was looking for .

Hope you like.

My new year inspiration was this: Silver by Keeshaba I think it would make a neat statue placeable in stone or bronze.

Having double checked the description for this months CCC and having found what follows while looking for something else I thought I'd share them here, after cropping and resizing for the forums, so as not to clog up the main forum.

'Image

While the original is designed as a pen-top, it strikes me that they would make excellent staff/wand ends.

'Image

Obviously a charm for controlling dragons!

'Image

And a ring to do the same.

'Image

While this is probably a charm against Blue Dragons.

'Image

Finally, a real Amethyst Dragon even if it only a baby.

'Image

A scrying device, no doubt, based on the Eye of Horus by the looks of it.

'Image

Beware this ring of power.

'Image

First of 2 Orbs of Power.

'Image

And Finally the other Orb.

Hope you find inspiration from these.

A couple more pictures for you.

Even Snow  White's wicked stepmother would have trouble with that one!

Ah, another of my alter-egos. Thanks Rolo for the nom-de-plum (aka The Mad Catter) suggestion that turned into this.

Have fun.

This may be of interest to someone, Cosmeston medieval village was excavated around 30 years ago and rebuilt.  It is one of the best examples of a stone built village of that era.

Fantastic! I especially like those willow-withe fences :-)

I've seen some pretty fancy thatching, too. Thanks for reminding me :-)

This kind of fence I might do in the future. Realy something so typical for the medieval time and never done for NWN. So 3 placeable fences cant hurt;) And thanks for the link and reminder... i´m sure i once had this idea already:D
