               <turning green...>

Say... uh, Shemsu, buddy ol' pal...
Mind if we grabbed that torso for the Torso Reference project and maybe grabbed the arms for improved body parts...? Need more fleshy textures... but, they are gorgeous!

Edit: We have Ragnarok's hi-poly torsos (Thanks Ragnarok!), but that Goro torso falls between his totally ripped torso and the bleh standard.

               As you wish; You also could use Caramon's Biceps from the HAK DLA_Lisa: Tika Waylan & Caramon Majere. In the original MOD they are a clothing pieces, but I think that it will work better like an anatomical pieces.

Also in the link that I have provide of character from MK4, you can found more muscular models, also they are divide almost in the same way than in NWN.....

               Help with my Genie????
I'm afraid that I can go further with my genie. Models, textures and even animations are ready. The animations, looks Ok in 3DS Max, but in the Aurora tollset the Genie looks a little dismembered; And also when I try to run the game with it, always stops to work.

Because of that I would like to ask for help. Is there some one with more experience than me with creatures, that wish to work with me to finish the genie? Thank you...

               I have no experience with animations, so I can't help you there. I'm just wondering if you have turned shadows on for those complex meshes. If so, they could cause the game crashes. Try to use some simple meshes to cast the shadows instead of the complex ones. Turn off 'shadow' on those and turn on 'shadow' for the simple meshes while you turn off 'render' for those.

Hey, you might try selecting all the bits of your Genie and hitting the reset controllers button.Sometimes this will fix stuff like that.

Edit: BTW, nice work!  Perfect match for the model.

How I can do that?

If your Genie is skin mesh, the skin mesh will not cast a shadow and so you don't have to worry about turning shadows off for it.  You will want to turn on shadows and turn off render on the Aurora Trimesh modifer for each of the bones.

If your Genie is not skin mesh and it is a very complex model then you should consider turning off shadows on the Aurora Trimesh modifier.  How complex is too complex?  500 triangles maybe?  This is just for an upper body.  Maybe 1,000 if you assume that the Genie will not be on the screen with many other creatures at the same time.  It's not an easy question to answer because the client's video settings determine how many shadow casting lights there are.  And shadows are extremely GPU (and I believe, even maybe CPU) intensive.  If you do have to turn off shadows, you could either make or use less complex objects to make the shadows for your Genie or just have no shadows at all.

It's much better to have no shadows on a model than to have a very complex model with shadows.  It can crash your game.  However, it will usually do something worse: Eat a huge chunk of your videocard's horsepower, making the whole game seem laggy.  And it may not be easy for a user to identify what model is dragging down the game.

Recently I have discovered a few models from the game "Prince of Persia: Warrior Within" at  http://thefree3dmodels.com.
Because i think that it's suitable for this topic, I have added two swords from this game. This is a derived work, however, i have modifyed a little the shape and textures in order to made it looks better....
