« on: March 05, 2012, 02:23:21 pm »

Hi all and here are some new Fx´s. There is an:

-1 arearain FX 10m*10m (for interiors)
-2 rainsplash FX 10*10m !

Theres a little demomod with 1 area included where i placed the rainsplashes. The placeable 2da is a PQ one with custom stuff from me so you need to work on that for yourself....

comments are welcome and dont hesitate to mod them as you wish;)

Good idea, looks nice.  I don't know if it was intentional or not but one of the placeables wound up on top a tree and so the rain appears to be splashing off the foliage.

the effects use the walkmesh data of the tile so its a bit tricky at times. Thats because one of the efx bounce of the walkmesh a bit.

Nice idea. It looks great on water or ponds when it's raining, really adds to an area. As a suggestion, the ability to ACTIVATE or DEACTIVATE the FX would be useful, then the placeable could be on a body of water and if it is raining in the area, ACTIVATE the placeable, then DEACTIVATE when the rain stops. Will add another layer on area wide weather pattern packages that have been made available on the Vault.

FP!

oooh! those are really nice!!  They look great hitting the water and the rain bouncing on foliage ended up being a nice side effect too!
