Pstemarie: I've already done robe and cloak support for the flying phenotype in slot 46 for the Sanctum modules. You may have a better and more comprehensive job in mind, but if you can use any of that work feel free to contact me for the files.

OK, give me a bit to collect them from my hak and I'll get them to you today. '<img'>

Let me know if you have any interest in including Goudea's (Enki's) crawling phenotype as well. I'm using a modified version of it in slot 49. It's been a feature of Sanctum 1 since v3.0 in 2008 (though I've had to move it twice now to avoid collisions, first with 1.69 and then with Q). If you don't want to use it, and wouldn't mind leaving pheno 49 open as a User (or Sanctum reserved) slot, that would be a great help to me. '<img'>

Thanks -- Andarian

Andarian, we have reserved lines 45-53 in phenotype.2da for Sanctum. The only slot we have plans for so far is 46 - Normal Flying Pheno, which will be developed in tandem with your modified animations so as to avoid any potential issues.

I have also duplicated all the current wing models in Project Q and applied StoneMonkey's flying animation to them. Those wings occupy line 94-126 in wingmodel.2da, which shouldn't be an issue for you since Q has reserved that 2da up to line 500.

Pstemarie: Thanks! Regarding the wing models: I actually have wingmodel.2da used and loaded up to line 324, and I'm using #322-324 for pegasus wings. Those are custom wing models given to me by Hardpoints to go along with the ridable pegasus model he did for me to incorporate into the Sanctum Saga.  I'm only really using 322 (the white ones), which I should be able to move if necessary.

From a quick look I think I must have missed merging wingmodel.2da with CEP 2.2, because that's got entries and reserved lines up to 1999 and mine doesn't. Either that, or I blew off using it altogether (it's hard to remember now). In any event I think I'll need to go through it again from scratch to figure out how to handle it.

(Never mind my dumb question about StoneMonkey's flying animation. It took me a few minutes to realize it was just the original work that CEP incorporated.)

Andarian, wingmodel.2da shouldn't be too much of a hassle for you. We've only used up to line 126 and I personally don't intend on adding anymore. However, if you do start moving things around you might want to note this thread over at the Q Forums - http://www.qnwn.net/...x.php?topic=784

And for those of you wondering how robe syncing is progressing...

Thanks to Andarian for providing some files for syncing, made my life a little easier. I've also got the coat models working with the flying animation - just need to apply the keys to animate them correctly. Once the coats are done I'll be setting up the cloaks to animate as well...

Pstemarie: You're quite welcome, and glad I could help. I'm especially pleased to read that you're planning to animate the robes and cloaks for flying. That will look fantastic and I'll definitely use the Q implementation, since my amateur job didn't go that far. I agree about wingmodel.2da -- it should be simple to straighten out. I'll just need to review the winged creatures I've already created afterward to make sure the references are OK.

I'll also keep an eye on the adjusted reserved ranges thread when I do the re-merge with CEP 2.4 and Q 1.5.

I've got the start/finish keys laid in for the coat base a little more than half done. Once those keys are finished I can move onto animating the individual coat bones. Looking at just over 7000 frames, but I should be able to finish it up by next weekend.

At any rate, if the coat super is not finished in time for v1.5 release, the rest of the flying pheno will be live (i.e. included in v1.5). I'll just patch in the coat supermodel through the updater as a hotfix (same once I complete the cloak support).
