Help needed upgrading a mod
« on: November 27, 2011, 03:30:09 pm »

               Hi, thanks to everybody again.

I'm upgrading my mod and changing the whole haks.

But I'm in a trouble because it crashes always I add or erase any a hak.

¿Does somebody knows any tip for change my mod hak list without loosing the module or without making a new one?

Thank you so much = )

This is a very complicated topic in general.

1) You generally can NOT remove a hak, unless you are absolutely positive that the content from that hak are no longer in the mod.
2) You CAN add haks, generally without much issue, provided that you are not overwriting 2da entries from other haks.  To make this work, you would need to merge the various 2da files together.  It is generally better to have your merged/modified 2da files inside of a top hak, IE a hak at the very top of the content list, and then to leave the original 2da files alone inside the various additional haks you add, provided that you have merged the modified/different/changed lines into the version in your top hak.
