HELP: NWN Explorer No Longer Works
« on: August 24, 2011, 07:36:25 pm »

All of a sudden NWN Explorer will not start - it was working fine this morning. I have tried reinstalling both v1.1 and Acaos' version. I even did a system restore. Any ideas? Cause if I can't get this program to work I might as well just drop NWN for good.

Win 7 Home Premium SP 1 64-Bit
Intel i3 550 CPU
6 GB RAM
nVidia GT240 1GB GPU

This might have something to do with your NWN installation. I remember that NWN Explorer used to crash on encrypted haks of premium modules.

Did you changed anything with your NWN installation?

Fixed it - I'm getting ready to move and packed up my PC speakers. That appears to be the issue - if I plug in headphones or a portable speaker unit, the program works again.

I scared you? I scared myself. My little heart was beating a mile a minute and I thought I was gonna have an anxiety attack.
