Terrain Question on lordofworms Fanstasy Interiors
« on: April 19, 2011, 03:50:39 am »

I'm using lordofworms' Fantasy Interiors tileset for the first time in a new module that I'm building. My problem is in getting corridors to connect with anything else, because they're not for me; I can't connect a corridor to a floor tile, nor can I connect a doorway on a corridor tile. Does anyone else use LoW's tilesets, and do you have any idea why I can't connect a corridor to floor tiles? Even same corridor, same floor (like the Haunted tileset)?

I mean, c'mon - all I wanted was a Pepsi.

I think you have to erase the door and then add the corridor.

Simple answer is the tiles to support corridors and doors in the same way as the standard NWN tilesets just aren't there. Its understandable in a way because the sheer number of tiles required to make that kind of functionality is huge - I started my "some interior" tileset almost two years ago and have only been slowly picking away at it ever since. It's still not quite finished.

If you're looking to use the Haunted Interior tiles, I'd reccomend using the standalone version Worms posted on one of his other vault pages. That has quite a lot of functionality (including a seperate set of corridors and working doors) that he apparently forgot to include in the Fantasy Interiors version. To be honest, the latter set seems like a rather rushed piece of work to me, as there's not really much in there that isn't just quick reskins and edits of his earlier work.

Suicidal Tendencies or Cypress Hill? ''

Ya thats tru the old one works better. You can only erase doors in like one haunted area and connect the corridor.I never found a way for the others.

Just in case you try wildwoods ..if you put a road on water it makes a bridge
