Don't forget the Silurians and the draconians. Both are reptillian humanoids from Dr. Who.

All Things Aerial.

Everything from birds to airships to floating islands, to whatever a medieval airport would look like. Could be steampunk, or just high fantasy (think Skies of Arkadia... which was more like high-seas in the beginning). Certainly room for any sort of flying object, but the ideal outcome would be enough  key content to make a module that is convincingly airborne. Or at least to have more than one option for an airship. You get the picture.

Cutscene Helpers

Increase the flexibility of cutscenes by creating things specifically for use in them.

Invisible walls that can have other placeable objects attached to them similar to portraits hung on regular walls.  Black walls with window/keyhole/etc. shapes cut into them to look through with the camera.  Prefabs that only require assigning the roles.  Tilesets that mimic existing Bioware areas but remove/move walls and features to increase the number of potential camera positions.  Skinnable walls that mimic beds, floors, etc. for top-down camera angles.

Been thinking about this last suggestion for a while. I would definitely add to it a new set of scripts that are easier to use with less idiosyncrasies. This is not to dis the ing_cutscene routines but they are hardly intuitive.

Noble Cause

This challenge is to represent the tools, symbols, appearances, and capabilities of the nobility, particularly the royal court. Potential ideas include throne rooms, elite royal guards, heraldic symbols, the queen's boudoir, a king's special armor, royal carriages, courtiers, crowns, jesters, banquet hall, rich tapestries, silverware, jousting instruments, mirrors, baths, private chapel, royal huntsman and stables, spoiled princes and princesses, toys, dancers, performers, and various members of the nobility. An implementation of the Aristocrat NPC class could be built, for example.

Corrupting Evil

"Land itself looked like its master, cruel and insane."

"Oh god, i am sorry. She... She ate them.. How does the human meat tastes like?"

"You have lied to me! The ghost was protecting us from that thing inside your child! Now die! Die for your trachery. And rest of you shall die too, to quelnch mine rage."

"Bethayed! Shuned! Now prepare you fools for evil never rests!"

"Hey its just a book it cant hurt me. Can it?"

"Paladins? Blah! those fools cant do whats is nescesary."

"I need it! I dont care who give it to me! Gods, devils of demons! Somebody give me power to ordinate the justice!"

"I too used be like you, but this place is no place for good folk, but they also needs an savior."

This one is theme of corruption, when heroes are wrapped by the evil of their enemies to become like them like Nietzsche

said "He who fights with monsters should be careful lest he thereby become a monster. If you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you." This is the game of corruption where experienced heroes cant be distinquieshed from lesser villians. Where paladins sell thair souls to demons to destroy others like the blackguards. Where heroes valliantly fights the ghosts to save the town only to find it reanimating dead for army.

Edit: certainly i got better at writing lore.

Hello everyone,

I have no idea if this has already been already suggested before, my knowledge is de minimis and read everything is an effort, but I have always thought that some groups of people positionable, group of people talking, craftsmen and farmers at work, children playing ball or spinning would be interesting and would avoid to insert scripts and stages.

Refreshing/expanding post...

Oopsies: Objects and creatures in the wrong place at the wrong time. Examples include: creatures that appear lodged in some crevice or pipe or even stuck in the classic NWN portcullis door, classic "smoking boots", legs/arms pinned under boulders, corpses with wagon tracks across them, non-animated creatures in sitting/laying positions for dramatic "dying breath" conversations, spilled and broken items, peg-legged NPCs, and more.

{ Suggested by ehye_khandee }

I also need arms (as if reaching through a grate from shadows beyond), animation optionally triggered. More legs too for 'haystack' romances.

I need light-producing candles that PCs can carry, both hooded and open.

I need some farm gear too, plows, harrows, hand-tools (both placeable and items).

I need trappers (floor bits that can animate / attack / roll-up) and wagons/carriages that are CREATURES so we can better make them move (following a horse that draws it possibly?).

Hope these ideas help.

The Age of Enlightment / Great war

Featuring 18-early 20 cetrury weapons clothes, helmets, gas masks and machinery, grand steam constructs, really old cars, their fantasy brothers, some steam and clockwork robots and also the people and buildings. Also terrible weapons and defences of WWI like combat gases, alltilery and tranches.

Cursed Magical Items - I've played a few modules where there were cursed items and while they can be a bit annoying for the player, it still has me wondering "why not more?" For example, there was this one module I played that has this longsword that was cursed by the dragon that it was used to kill. This wasn't something you found out until you walked around with it as you'd take damage while outside by just carrying the sword in your pack.

Ideas for Fun Scripts (assuming they don't already exist):

- Scripts to prevent players from removing an item after equipped where the item will just reequip itself.

- Scripts to direct your henchmen to pick up items because when you live in world where cursed magical items exist, you're going to want your henchmen to pick up that "Ring of Elemental Resistance" because you're not entirely convinced it isn't actually the infamous "Ring of Mockery" that will hit you with CHA-5 and change your name to Human McHumanFace.

Lists of Specific Curse Items:

Or maybe there isn't anything wrong with the item at all, and it has no curse. However creatures not native to the material plan are drawn to the weapon because they wish to claim it for themselves such that these other plane beings keep showing up out of nowhere randomly to attack the player.
