What is the max number of players supported by NWN multi-player

1.69, officially supported. I am entirely ignorant of the multi-player side of things and am getting conflicting info all over the shop.

 

So,

 

1) What is the max number of players that can simultaneously adventure in the official campaign? (e.g, 8, 18?)

2) What is the max number of players that can simultaneously adventure in a PW? (e.g, 62, 96?)

Server wise: 64 players is the maximum you can set from the UI (when starting a server from either nwserver and client). You can reach 96 by editing the nwnplayer.ini directly. I don't know if nwnx allows for higher numbers. In my experience it gets rather laggy with player numbers that high. Some servers support higher numbers by splitting a module and running it over multiple server instances.

 

The limit for the default campaign is basically the same, as it is just another module. However I'm not sure how well the OC handles multiple player characters, I only ever played it alone.
