Neverwinter Connections Domain available
« on: March 14, 2016, 07:37:14 pm »

Just for the heck of it today I just went to visit the most secure website known to humankind, also known as neverwinterconnections.com, and was pleasantly surprised to see the jumbled mess that was the site is gone and the domain is available again. Woo-hoo! I know back in the day I used it alot, but unfortunately that ended for all of us due to it being run into the ground over the last 4 years.

Anyway though, I just wanted to bring attention to any web designers in the community who might be interested in picking it up. Or maybe it could be setup to link to the neverwintervault.org calendar as mentioned in the now-closed post about Neverwinter Nights Connections? While the name has basically been been associated with a dysfunctional site for years, *maybe* having that domain at least point to a reputable site might be a way to bring in some returning players?

Or maybe it's best just to let it rest in pieces...

i flagged this on a calendar, but forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder. Would be good for the domain name to become part of an actual community project now.

Many thanks for the well-intentioned suggestion Rolo Kipp (always good to see you online!) - but having run that notion past Eriniel and seen a hack list as scarey as any I have EVER seen - I think we'll stick with our usual 'hand coded' methods.

Be very warey if you are using Drupal.

Best to just re-register and re-direct directly to the Vault.

Wait ... it uses Drupal! O_o

Th-Th-Th-Th-Th-... That's all, folks!
