Great work!  Now all we need is either the original sticky to be updated or a new one done!

Great to hear from you, MrZork.

I'm amazed my new comp knew my username and my password to allow me to answer you here. NWN is far away in my memory, but not in my heart. I totally forgot how to manage all of this thread thingy, so feel free to do as you know will be best as it would take too much from me to go back there.

Now, if you give me the link of my own original thread, awkward isn'it, not even knowing it anymore, I might take a look at it, and try something.

Or should I make a new one, in some new forum?

About a moderator?

Jmlzemaggo!! A thrill to hear from you!

Here is a link to your original "Add-ons & Tips from the NWN Community" thread. IMO, the best option is for you to edit that original post. That way, it will be up to date and we can avoid asking a moderator to swap the sticky-ness of it and a new thread, Modifying it should be as easy as using the Quote feature on my post above and then copying just the "Add-ons & Tips" material. Then open your original post and paste that over what's there.

BTW, did you ever get NWN to run on your Mac again?

[EDIT]
Aargh!. I remember now that the Quote feature no longer copies quotes within quotes. For convenience, I will post the relevant bit below, unquoted, so that you can quote this post and copy it. The stuff below the horizontal rule is the material from your "Add-ons & Tips" post, with the updated links.

Special notes:

*1) I personally have never seen a major issue with Tony K's AI anywhere in NWN. Only... some beloved "perfectionist" type of community modules authors created their very personnal AI and playing those with Tony K's one might not be the proper and most respectful way to go. About a second « No Tony K’s AI » override folder, eventually by using that *24, NWNLauncher? So, I'd recommend installing Tony K's AI at the very end of that list. And also reading the "Read me" coming with any single module before playing it...
7 & 8) About hands only: Use Kurairyu's hands, by kurairyu, for the gloves only, but Xaltar's Head and Underwear packs, by Xaltar, for the bare hands (Models 00 & 01). Don't overwrite 7 by 8 when asked.
*10) Use the NonShawdowVersion only! N°35 is my fav girl one. Eyes and lips colors can be change, in game, by using my tip *3, Customize Character, by Kamiryn: [Modify body > change color > tatoo 1 & 2]. A must have for those who like playing (with) girls. And enjoy seeing maybe new NPCs as well... (I suggest installing Salt's human female heads last, overwriting anything not as nice.)
*12) NWShader wiki
*22) PGC3 v4.4 Beta is the one I'm using, especially to perform *32, Shia's trick in game.
*28) The best way for me (Mac player = No toolset) to "add" some keen senses to your human PC for instance, but not only... Everything... (but don't touch the skills, buggy!).
Also, check on this Project Q Site
Community modules & CEP: My personal trick: I simply installed all the CEPs versions I could find here, from the earliest one to the latest, in that very order, and was able since to play any official or community module I came across without any problem or conflict... so far.
*44) One of my fav. Those 3 pure jewels might not work in some modules. Read the "Project Details" by Calgacus. Or the original thread... where Calgacus finally answered his own call himself!
**************************************

And don't worry: Mods don't bite! I mean, rarely...

Acknowledgements:
Thanks to all of you, NWN lovers, who've been so nicely helping, in many different ways, for the making of this list.
A very special mention for Shia Luck. There wouldn't be such a list without her british sunbeam.
The new title is from our NWN words artist, Bard Simpson... so you'd know where to click for any complain about it.

Now, play the community modules '', and fully enjoy the only true NWN: online!

Great work. May i suggest a few more recent additions? The community patch is still listed as version 1.70 while 1.71 is the most recent.

And under beautification i feel that Zwerkules' facelift haks should be listed.

Regarding tony k: i switched my whole override folder to separate patch haks. Makes activating and deactiviating of individual features much easier, though maybe some installers/launchers can fill amsimilar role. Anyway, regarding tonyk changes themselves: many things like monsters not using feats or abilites and familiars having missing stuff have been adressed by the cpp 1.71. So i personally feel, the only thing tonyk has to offer nowadays that make it really stand out is the free roaming sneaking enemy feature. And that's the one that can break some modules... may be worth adding as a footnote somewhere

As always, I couldn't resist the NWN call.
Job's done, MrZork.
I don't know how I made it, but I mixed some of your stuff and I believe it came out pretty well.
Luck was on our side, as always. Good job.
If things get more complicated in the future, just take the thread under your wing and your merry name and carry on with it, for the sake of gaming.
It's all yours. It always was.
But if you need me, I shall be around, at some point

Be very well, all of you.
