NWN Still Standing?
« on: January 04, 2013, 07:20:52 pm »

Best and most favored older 3D game EVAR!!  '<img'>

Neverwinter Nights #1 on Top 10 list on GOG.com

Am tired of the the same old doom and gloom "NWN is dead" or "The death of NWN?" or
"Temperatures rise in the middle of winter, the end is nigh for NWN?", etc BS... you know
what I mean. Enough with the negative and onward with the positive!

LONG LIVE THE KING(NWN)!! '<img'>

I couldn't help but notice that the rest of the top ten (with one exception) is rounded out by D&D-based games. '<img'>

@Pstemarie - Could that be because gog had an offer on those DnD games being bundled together over Christmas?

The fact that Demonstone and Dragonshard are on that list tells me it was a bundle.

Presumably there were some non-bundled purchases so it's not a tie at 1-9.

Didn't know they had a bundle deal. So yeah, that would explain it.

The strength of the hundreds of single player modules with in-depth dialog, multiple choice options, different endings full of plot twists during one's adventure, has really helped keep Neverwinter Nights in the minds of gamers around the world, who really like to have the focus on their character as they strive to become the hero in the story.

GoG had bundle deals on pretty much their entire library over the last couple of weeks, so the fact that the DnD bundle seems to have "won out" is still an excellent sign.

Personal jabs aside, this is a good sign indeed. Maybe bioware will take notice, and STICKEY some info about gamespy, and what possible alternatives are out there.

This is most certainly not a "Personal" jab. It is meant at anyone and everyone that at some point in the past
8 years has posted a "Death" thread. Now I know why you may feel like the finger is pointed at you since as of
this moment... currently you're the only one that posted such a thread, but again, not personal.
