I thought of 2 actually, 1warrior type and 1rogue. Perhaps then rogue skills could be handled by wizard+familiar. I'll go by your advice then. I'll get wiz to lockpick his familiar to find/disarm + henchman warrior type:) I hope that works, or you think i should hire a rogue henchman? thanks for help Timmy
Play however you like. That's what NWN is all about... Freedom of Choice!
'> One thing to keep in mind, though: The larger the party, the less experience you will get yourself on combat-related opportunities. It costs somewhere around -10% XP per party member and that includes your coop partner, henchmen and summons. It is a system that tries to balance the challenge by adjusting the character level to match the party size. Party size has no effect on quest rewards. however.
btw, does diamond edition requires an active dvd? I just found out that my dvd died:( this comp is old and i don't feel like buying new dvd for it. So i thought I could borrow one just to install the game if the game works fine online without dvd inside.
IIRC, from v1.68 on, no discs were required (for sure v1.69 plays direct from the harddrive). I recommend playing vanilla (no haks, overrides or utilities) for several hours to make sure that should you experience any problems with coop games, it will be MUCH easier to diagnose and resolve. Your plan should work fine as long as you have access to 2 different sets of CD keys so that the server can distinguish each player.
BTW, a wiz does not need a rogue.
Find Traps and
Knock pretty much covers all the handiest rogue skills. And the pixie is a better rogue for the most part and can be possessed. As a noob, experiment. You can switch familiars each level-up if you like. The Eyeball is also an interesting familiar and each of them have their own skill set.
