               GameSpy NWN1 Master Server Stats

At the very bottom of that page, you will see something like:
363 Servers Listed with 1061 players.

Those figures are accurate using the link I provide above.  If you enter filters (such as the example given on that page, numplayers > 0) the total number of players returned may be inaccurate.

Over 1,000 players simultaneously playing at 2:54PM (when I started writing this) on a Thursday afternoon in May, almost ten years after the game was released.  Not too shabby.  And that's just the stats for multiplayer.  It's a little difficult to call that "dead", isn't it?  Things may seem to move somewhat slowly on these forums but the game is still being played 24/7 as it has been for the last 10 years.  Don't believe me?  Come back and check these stats at 3:30AM on a Tuesday morning and you'll still usually find at least two hundred or more people playing.  But you'll never see nobody playing.

Long live Neverwinter!

@ehye_khandee Thanks, it took a long time to find that and I hope the whole community gets use out of it.  With the new Player Appreciation Days coming up, it'll be a nice reminder just how much blood is flowing through this game's veins.

@virusman Wow- I can't thank you enough!  I've wanted player graphs like this for about 4 years now.  Thank you!!!

Very cool! Thanks for those links.

That is a pretty respectable tally of PW players, with seemingly between 400 and 1200 online at any given moment. I wonder if there is a way to determine the number of individual players who log on to a PW in a given day?

Not only that, but, if I am reading things correctly, that tally doesn't show the people playing MP modules where the host is in MP mode instead of running the module on a server. I suspect that is a respectable number, too.

It's a bit interesting to comparing it to this:

The numbers are going up for the winter.  Just noticed NWN has started coming out of the yearly summer slump.  Up to a peak recently of ~1,660 simultaneous players.

World-wide prime time for NWN multiplayer starts around 1-2pm PST and goes from there.  T/Y again Virusman for the stats!

Unfortunately, this could be simply because Sinfar has depolyed 2 more servers showing fake player numbers. You have to subtract at least 250 from the total player count..

Good lord!  After subtracting the 287 total players that place is showing, we're still up quite a bit over when I started this thread originally.  But...ack!

Well... IIRC that particular bug adds 64 so the delta is -256.
