Need Help!!!!!

               Hey guys, this is my first post.  I have only been playing NWN HotU for 19 Days now and have a level 11 Fighter/17 Weapon Master.  I am looking for a stealthy weapon master that uses a scythe, and preferably maybe a few levels of rogue for sneak attack???  I don't know much so sorry if this seems completely noobish.  I do know I want to play it through all the OC and expansions and I really want him/her to specialise with a scythe.

               And your next step being to play evil? Which would allow you to go for assassin, almost a rogue, when it comes to skills, but with the death attack instead of the sneak one.
Just another class to be considered.

The only problem I have is I'm not a builder, just some owl playing through its gizzard. That's why I answered your call, because it's more of a player questioning, than a technical one only. You know what you want, and for that I'm impressed. As if you had already answered half of your question yourself.

Is it worth going scythe?  Or should I try for something different?  I want a high crit to stack with Death Attack and WM Crit enhancements.

                I don't know of the tech aspect of a scythe, well, I kind of do, but, all I know if you find it looking cool, it surely is strong enough to help you cleaning around. Only you gonna have to go "exotic" to get something just a bit stronger than a regular longsword but the threat... Worth it?
So it's all about the look, the RP in my opinion. As a katana would probably do better. I never quite understood that threat thing myself anyway...Maybe you will.
(20x4 is almost like 0x4 to me...)
Also check my list in my signature. There is a OCs walkthrough, but don't look at it of course , only at its "equipment" section, to see all the weapons and stats.

The OC was designed to be played with a different (separate) character than the one in the expansions.  You should figure reaching around level 18 in the OC if you solo.

HotU was designed to continue the use of the character created and used in SoU, but I suppose you could subsitute the one from OC if you chose to do so, although it would be a bit overpowered for starting HotU.

SoU was designed to start a new character even if you choose to build it exactly the same as the one you used in the OC.  If not, except for the story, the combat will be extremely boring and annoying.  That is you decision, however.  SoU was designed to reach max level of around 13-14.

Regardless of of which route you decide to take, your HotU character will never reach any higher than level 30 (level 28 is normal) so adjust any character build to that level.  If you would like to evaluate some builds that max around 30, click here.

               Ok cool I'll definitely look thru them.  My next question... How do I go about making a fighter/cleric build for role-play purposes as the guys at school want a fighter that is strong yet can heal and cast some awesome buffs on the team.  Any suggestions?  Thanks for all the help

Just a brief suggestion about posting topics:  Try to use a descriptive title so that others who may want to search for answers may pick up on topics that have already been discussed.  "Need Help!!!" will prove practically meaningless to any others looking for build suggestions. Deal? Sweet.

So, to answer your amended topic... try this one. It looks like lots of fun to play and will buff your party nicely.
