I agree. An updated trailer would be nice. If anyone were to take this on, I think it should include:
- mention and video from the original campaign + expansions
- mention of the hundreds and hundreds of community-made modules
- updated video shots from multiple PWs (from action to roleplay)
- direct mention of community-made custom content to upgrade the game (monsters, environments, graphical enhancements)
- end with prominent addresses/links to:
the Vault
the NWN section of the BioWare social site
http://www.gog.com/e...diamond_editionI think that it would also need to be done in higher quality video than the original trailer or most of the NWN videos already posted on youtube (that aren't very clear due to lots of compression and grainy-ness). Some epic-sounding background music, with professional-sounding voiceover work, would make it more of a polished product.
Afterward, it could be posted on youtube, then all of us could share it on facebook, link it on twitter, and everywhere else to get it as many eyes as possible and to call back those former players that might get back to the game.
