Area Code List?
« on: November 01, 2010, 08:50:53 pm »

I was wondering if there is an area code list anywhere. Kind of like this

www.baumfamily.org/dave/nwn_items.txt

Haven't been able to find anything by simply searching.

sorry, in the OC. Basically a list of all the codes (tags) that allow you to teleport using the dm_movetoarea (area code) cheat

Area Code List?

Umm... most modules have 20 or 30 areas max so just open any module in the toolset and copy/paste the tags, resrefs and/or names to a text file (there's really no point in writing a program to extract that small amount of information unless you plan a recursive extractor for all the modules in the community for some reason).  The item list you are referencing is unique to specific modules (I'm guessing from the Bioware campaigns) so are limited only to those.  It doesn't include any items specific to the Premium modules, for instance. There are also similar compilations for creatures (they call them Bestiaries).  I suppose I'm confused as to what your goal is in gathering this information. (???)

edit: just reading your follow-up.  Yes.  Just use the console in-game/chooser or the toolset if you want to make a list yourself.
