A few dif questions

               Been trough the game a fair ammount of times and i decided to make a ranged only rager. AKA no dualwielding and that crap. But now that im about to take my next class im not sure what to take.. I do not wan't a caster/archer so no arcane archer.. Maybe assasin works for ranged? Or even rogue? Not sure if you can get sneak attacks for ranged.

Second i've been looking for stuff i might have missed out in my 10 "ish" runs trough SOU and HOTU. Last run i found the vendor in the shadow world and after some time on google i heard about some deck wich i never seen and i also got curious about the frozen chicken in Hillstop?

Third i was curious if there is some mod that gives you the option to recruit the paladin chick? Seeing how the other 2 are "kinda" boring annoying and useless "Hint" halforc "hint"
I would also like a link to the fix for aribeth and Valen.. Not sure if he was bugged but i think i read it somewhere '>

Either can work, but you'll need high Int for good assassin. Sneaks & DA work with ranged within 30 ft..

Either can work, but you'll need high Int for good assassin. Sneaks & DA work with ranged within 30 ft..

After you exit drogans house there is a chicken pen to the south. One of the chickens are "frozen" and petrified 
Hmm high int for assasin? Thought assasin was kinda like rogue? Or is it more spell's involved?

               Never read/experienced any easter egg about that chicken.  It may require Animal Empathy like some other animal-related subquests in SoU.  Both rog & asn need Dex but an asn's Death Attack depends on both asn level and Int modifier to work best, if you prefer DAs to SAs, that is.

Edit:  Just confirmed what Zorr Crew explained below.  There is no script or trigger associated with the frozen chicken so my prior assumption that there may be a class-specific event involved comes up a big zero.

               The petrified chicken is pretty much an easter egg/random fun thing the developers threw in. There's no actual dialogue or quest involved with it. If you'll check the description, it'll say something like "This is one frozen chicken." It IS pretty cold up there in the frozen north. :B

               Just as in the NWN OC there is a chicken in Port Llast "that is contemplating crossing the road" if you read the description. i.e less subtle - "why did the chicken cross the road?"



The lads and lasses at Bioware had a great sense of humor in most these games.
