need help with nwconfig.ini
« on: August 24, 2010, 02:58:20 am »

               Hopefully this is the right place to post this, as the other thread headers did not seem appropriate.
In my nwconfig file, my nVidia Driver entry is blank. Can I manually enter this info? and is it the driver verison or something else?
Also, I am looking for where I can set the enemy/monster respawn to 1.

Thanks!

               Do you have an nVidia card? It will be blank if the game detected an ATI card.

Example -

[Video Card]
Type=NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX
VRAM=512
Desktop Resolution=1680x1050
Desktop Color Depth=32
Result=2
Skip=0
[Open GL]
OpenGL Installed=1
OpenGL Version=2.1.2
ATI Driver=
nVidia Driver=6.14.11.7440
Result=2
Skip=0

Not sure what you mean by enemy/monster respawn to 1.

What is it you want to happen?

FP!

It's blank because the config couldn't find it.  There's no point in editing it in unless you just want to have the information there for your own record.

Try rerunning the nwconfig.exe and select change.  Maybe it just gliched during installation.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but in the nwnplayer.ini there is a line Always Reset Encounter Spawns= under [Server Options]. There may be a line you can add under [Game Options] similar to this one.  Dunno.
