Ok I have the server running for along time now.I haven't had any trouble logging in until recently.

There are no changes to the mod so is there some other areas you can point me to?

We'll need details as to what problem you are having.

Do you use a third party program to launch the game in DM mode?

Are you logged in as a player and using the same CD Keys already?

Are you launching from the server itself or another computer?

etc...

DM loads 75% then crashes.

Server is on debian 6 that starts by script.

DM are trying to login from their PC running windows. Same keys but not while they have a character on.

I had this problem once before when I tried running the server on windows.I switched to linux and it was fine for years.

looked in the temp.0 and there was 7428 files.

Your file count points to it not being a resource issue (I.e., too many .. exceeded 16k limit). It doesn't tell us if its a pallette issue though.

1 - What did you recently add to your module since after it last worked properly? Does a module copy dated prior still work?

2 - Do you use the CEP and if so, do you use the following haks in your module; cep2_add_sb_v1.hak, cep2_build.hak and cep2_crp_s.hak. If so, these all inflate your item, creature, placeable pallettes and you may have exceeded the 16k limit for your pallettes.

3 - Can you still login as a player? If you can, do items with "unique power" properties still work? Too many pallette entries often still allows players to login and play, but sometimes items with unique powers will fail.

I can still login as player but haven't triedthe unique powers .

I will try to mess with it some more and have more details . '<img'>

You may also need to refresh still refresh your various pallettes to remove the stuff from the cep2_build.hak.

Silly question, but have you verified you can host a basic module (like a module from one of Bioware's campaigns) and log in as a DM on that?

Hopefully/presumably the answer is yes, but wouldn't hurt to take five minutes and double check.

Regarding the shrinking of the DM palette, it appears you can use nwnx_resman to do that if you want to look into it.

No it doesn't hurt to point out the obvious. I can login with a different module though.  I was looking at the palette and there are so many things on it . '<img'>
