Don't have prc .hak files?

               I hope this is the right forum to post to. I just bought and installed Neverwinter Nights Diamond edition, and since I was having trouble accessing henchman inventories I downloaded a mod that fixes the problem. The mod works fine, except that there is an additional fix that I need to install with it, and it requires me to add content to the prc_scripts and prc_spells .hak files, which the readme tells me are in the hak folder. These files aren't there, or anywhere on my computer for that matter. Is there something I have to do to get the files to generate? Are they just not present in the Diamond edition? Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I'm assuming these files aren't specific to this mod since I've seen them mentioned elsewhere in the modding community, but I know that some mods do use custom prc files so if that's the case I get that I'll have to conctact the mod's creator. I just wanted to check here first because I figured this community was probably more active, and, like I said, I got the impression that the files were default game files rather than mod files. Please correct me if I'm wrong, it would be a big help.

               Sounds like this mod is compatible with the PRC, which is a massive package of classes which some people use. This really recreates the game.

I would think that that these instructions are just there in case you happen to use the PRC, without the PRC there might be other instructions or you might not have to do anything. but im just guessing, hope that helps some. ( not really sure what mod you are talking about )

I would not install the PRC just to get henchmen inventory working, but only if I wanted to get all the new features and classes it provides as well.

               Ah, that makes sense. Thanks, I'm new to NWN modding so there's lots of stuff like this that I don't know yet. My game's been working fine with the mod anyway, so I'll assume for now that the prc stuff isn't anything I need to worry about.
