cant enable hardware sound

                so i have a fresh install of windows on a new hard drive. i have all the latest drivers for my video and sound card (ht omega eclaro). i just installed nwn diamond and then installed the 1.69 CR. for some reason i have never been able to select enable hardware sound. i used to use the onboard audio. below are my specs:

i posted something about bad performance in the old forums and someone had responded that it was due to the lack of a dedicated sound card. well now i have one and i still cant enable the hardware sound. if anyone has any ideas or clues to get me on the right track that would be great.

               Part of the problem is that Neverwinter Nights does not get a long with Windows 7. The other part of the problem is that Neverwinter Nights also does not recognize driver sets newer than 2006/2007 ish. I have a similar problem of my audio only playing out of the left channel half the time. NEVER had that problem running windows XP.

I have yet to see, or hear of a fix for neverwinter nights and the audio options.

               well i guess i fixed it. i just uninstalled the drivers then went into the device manager and uninstalled the driver there too... then reinstalled them. it works.
