Voices stop
« on: November 16, 2011, 03:33:48 am »

I have NWN Diamond loaded on a win7 64bit computer using the installation FAQ from this forum. Everything seems to work fine except conversations sometimes stop after one or two of the voice text screens. Is this normal? Or should I be able to hear all of the text spoken?

It's normal. Most conversations are this way except for major main quest characters such as in the OC, Aribeth and Arin for example. In fact, some convos have no "Voice Over" except for the initial "Hello" of NPCs.

Just to be clear on my post, voices always work when I first click on a character, but sometimes cut out during the conversation. But sometimes the conversation remains audible 'til I click "End of Conversation". The voice sound cuts out more than 1/2 of the conversations.

Q1- So you're saying that a conversation cuts off with absolutely  no interaction at all from you? and
you know this because you've had that conversation before and know that it's suppose to last longer?

Q2- Have you updated your game to v1.69?

Thank you, oh great Lord. I think your first comment that it was "normal" hit the mark.

From your second post: Q1 - no, I don't know that it should last longer. I was wondering whether it should. Q2 - yes, I'm using 1.69.
