Issue logging in

               Posted from one of our players... We have PRC, but all other players have been able to login just fine.

"Don't want to hijack a thread but I've been trying to get into the server and keep hitting "Timed out". People swear they see my char in the game but all I see is black screen. I've created a fresh hak folder just for WSI and still get the hanging black screen of Time Out. Is there something I should be doing? All the files are up to date and in the proper places.

My connection is 6mb and all ports are forwarded. No firewall blockade either. I'm not sure why it's causing such an issue.

Also I have tried both regular connection and direct connect. Still BSOTO."

               Have him ping your server and see what kind of a responce time he gets.

To ping the server in XP.  

click on 'start'  and select the 'run...' option.  
In the box that opens  type in  'cmd' then click 'ok'.

in the command window type:   ping -l 1024 -n 10  98.111.192.249

and hit return.   the -l  is a lowercase L if it is not clear.  

For comparision here are the results that I just got from pining your IP.

EDIT:  I had -c for the count switch  should be -n   :  Fixed.
