Game will not start

                So following a guide I found on here, I installed the game and patched up to v1.69 easily. I have both nwn.exe and nwnmain.exe set with full control, running as admin and running in windows xp service pack 3. However if I try to open nwnmain.exe the screen might flicker once and then literally nothing, but if I try to open nwn.exe I atleast get the opening menu with the super intense music; Where it shows that I have the game patched up with both expansions installed, but if I hit the play button, a small message pops up in the bottom right from the icon tray about my color scheme changing (does not seem to relevant) then the screen with the bleeding eye pops up for a few seconds, misleading me to think it's loading, then it all disapears into nothingness.

I'm running a 64 bit version of windows 7, anyone have any fixes for me? Much appreciated. 

NWN 1 both expansions (english)
Retail CD (diamond edition)

Intel Core i5 CPU  750 @ 2.67GHz 4GB of ram (64 bit operation system - windows 7)

ATI Radeon HD 4500 series, driver version 8.700.0.0 2292 MB - video

(And this is only for the raw hardware & driver variations.  Potential software conflicts are far more likely to be game play problems, and developers cannot test for all possible program loads.)

That was pretty unspecifc... lol. Not sure what else you really need/want to know. I've described what I've done and the result I've come to. Maybe you could help me to help you help me.

I did not think of this, but changing it did not fix my issue, game still just crashes as soon as I hit play :\\

               I think it my be something with your graphics then .Im not an expert in the graphics though.I have experimetented recently .Lanching nwmain.exe  instaed of nwn.exe leaves my areo theme alone .So if not using toolset or DMclient  nwmain.exe can be used to play game.I dont have an answer for you but Im going to bet its your graphics or the direct 11.Try doing a search on those.


EDIT: found this (Best bet --> No ATI since HD series and NO Nvidia since GF 400 series)

               Need DirectX v9.0c I believe; luckily it can co-exist on the same computer with other versions.  Do you have that?
