So this is the error message I'm getting from my updater for NWN:

Retrieving game patch information

Downloading nwn_x12_english_from1668074_to1698109.md5
Latest Game Version Available: 1.69.8109
Connecting...files.bioware.com
Locate patch file nwn_x12_english_from1668074_to1698109.zip
Can not find patch file: nwn_x12_english_from1668074_to1698109.zip
Get the critical rebuild.

The patch has been aborted

Don't know how to fix this. I've tried using the newer patches, but nothing worked.

Actually reading what the error message tells you couldn't hurt, could it?

Unfortunately, the Bioware updater hasn't worked in years.

Follow the recommendation near the end of the diagnostic you listed and download the critical rebuild.

For the Diamond & Platinum versions, use this file to obtain the correct critical rebuild for thosev ersions (for other versions use the Bioware Patch page to locate the correst one).  If it (your NWN game version) was obtained through GoG, there may be another method to secure the update but I am unfamiliar with how that works (yet other members here may know how).

Good luck and let us know as to your progress!
